IRS Deletes Job Posting Seeking Applicants

The IRS deleted a job posting Wednesday seeking "special Agents willing to use deadly force" for its law enforcement division

The deletion came amidst renewed scrutiny of the agency following criticism that it has been too slow in responding to financial crimes.

As an example: A recent House spending bill would double their size and increase funding by over $90 million dollars per year - yet some still disabilities them with fewer agents."

These are some dangerous duties that you could be asked to do as a police officer. For instance, being “willing and able” for arrest operations or search warrant execution can mean life-threatening situations on the job

We also notice their fitness requirements include physical abilities such with running crouching etc., so this is not one position

So far, they've received overwhelming response from people who want this job opportunity with over 3k applications submitted in just one year!

The announcement was opened on USAJOBS and continues through December 31st of next decade
